You Must Understand How Important Love Is To Success
The only person who can pull me down is myself.
At 4 pm every day, I try to eat my feelings.
The babysitter goes home and leaves me with a fussy baby, my husband picks up our toddler from pre-school, and the rest of the day, it’s all about them. I feel trapped, tired and a little angry at myself. I both want and don’t want this life.
I’m confused and miserable.
So, come 4 pm, I open the cabinet with sweets, pick a few things, and start eating them, leaning on the kitchen island, trying not to distract my baby from whatever he’s doing.
I thought it was a food problem and a habit problem. A sugar addiction problem.
But no. It wasn’t any of that, and I couldn’t fix it with any food, habit or addiction-related strategies. Not for long, anyway.
