There are many doers out there who don’t need this advice. If it comes naturally to you to throw yourself into new adventures, you’ve probably already started.

Most of us procrastinate, though. We dress up procrastination real nice, too: we have jobs, we have kids, we don’t have the energy, and we don’t know how.

So we don’t, period.

Reading this article is a great start. Reading and learning about solopreneurship is great, but you could learn for years and never do anything to build your business.

So, if you’re brand new and still a little confused about this, here are the first 4 things I want you to do:

Think about what you want to do.

When I first started an online business, I was a life coach. I struggled to find clients for my one-on-one coaching services for a year until I realized two things:

  1. I don’t want my one-on-one coaching service to be my main breadwinner anyway. There are only so many hours in the day, and I didn’t like having appointments scattered from early morning to late in the evening because of the time difference.
