What It’s Like To Be a Full-Time Writer.

“First, try to be something, anything, else.”

Oh, it used to seem impossible to me.

Being paid to write? Get out of here!

Even if I could turn writing into a side hustle, I never believed it could be my full-time job.

In fact, that’s one of the reasons I got into coaching.

Back in 2012, as it slowly dawned on me how unfit I was for a corporate career, I started considering options. Writing passed through my mind, and I thought, well, I’m never going to make any money with that. Next!

Funny thing. After a year or so of squirming under my coaching occupation, feeling with every fibre of my body that this wasn’t me, somehow, I found my way back to writing.

First, through copywriting. Then blogging. In the future, hopefully, I’ll be a novelist and a screenwriter. That’s what I dream of.

But even if my dreams never come true, I’ve been a full-time writer since 2015. For seven years, I’ve been spending my time doing what I love and making money out of it. Some months, making great money. I have aspirations, but I am so grateful already.

Is this something you want to do? Write and only write? Great! Let me tell you a few words about what to expect.
