Just want to say that the “different carrot” and the “anyone can do it” parts really blew me away.
I was wondering whether to keep writing the articles I want to write at all, because I can focus on ghostwriting instead and make some money.
But if I can help one person, that’s really something to aim at, a worthy goal. SoI wrote something today and you know what, I’ll write something again tomorrow :)
The “anyone can do it” attitude is particularly interesting to me because my husband has it, but uses it in the opposite way. I’d share an idea with him and he’d tell me “It sounds great, but if it really was, why aren’t people doing it? After all, anyone can do it? Maybe there’s a problem that we don’t know.”
I’m trying to convince him that yes, anyone can do it, but some people just don’t. It sums up the difference between the successful and the unsuccessful pretty well, doesn’t it?
Thank you, Tim. Your ideas are very helpful and value-driven, and humble, and not just in this piece. Thank you for sharing.
