I’ve been thinking about freedom lately. Ironically, the last few years, years where I managed to make good money in exchange for just a 2–3 hours of my day, and then could do whatever I wanted to, I wasn’t all that happy.

I felt stuck on that level of freedom. I felt stuck, because I didn’t know how to move forward, how to reach the next level.

I’d dream of things and think of plans, and try to relax, but also I felt anxious about what was ahead.

Then my baby came, I jumped head first into something new, other stuff happened and suddenly, I wasn’t free anymore.

It was amazing to go back to that dynamic. I work more on my dreams now, and I live the life I want to live instead of daydreaming about it.

I’ve always put freedom at the top of my list of values, but now I think freedom is about the parts of your life where you’re in between levels. You need it then, to get in touch with yourself and make the right decisions.

But the truth is, you’re happier when times passes you by and you’re consumed by it, and you’re nothing but free.

I just thought it was a strange realization worth sharing.

Thanks for your perspective!
