I quit my job to be a life coach, but writing caught up to me.

They say if you want to find your passion, think back to what you did as a kid. Not what you wanted to be as a kid, but what you did as a kid.

I read and wrote all the time. I have journals dating back to when I was 12. I wrote articles for a teenage newspaper and even got paid. My literature teacher loved me. And even with all those not-so-subtle hints, I found it challenging to identify “my calling.”

Then, somehow, I became a writer. I posted a gig on Fiverr almost as a joke, and it exploded.

I used to think, man, who’d pay me to write? Turns out, lots of people.

My total writing income for the past ten years is almost half a million dollars, and I made it as a non-native speaker living in Bulgaria, Eastern Europe.

If you want to start a writing career online, here are some facts that might be helpful.

You have what it takes to start right now.

You have stories. You have knowledge. You have experience. Ideas.

You like to think. You wouldn’t want to be a writer if you didn’t like to think.
