I was offered $200. It’s alright, considering that’s about what I’ve earned the past few months if you don’t count the bonuses.

It’s about topics, too, perhaps, but I think mostly about quality. As someone already mentioned, you have to write 4 curated articles, which makes you more focused on quality.

Also I like that they are investing in doing much more than just giving out bonuses. There are the webinars now that make you a better writer, and I love the Medium Writers’ Challenge.

Also I have two small children. Some months I simply can’t write a lot. Having a lower requirement on quantity really allows me to focus on quality, and I know I’ll get $200, which is okay for a side thing I’m still developing.
