I’m not an expert on writing.

It just so happened that I started making a living from writing back in 2014, and I never looked back.

It’s been 5,5 years now and recently, friends of friends who want to make living from writing started approaching me and asking me how they can do it too.

Well, expert or no expert, I’ve been at it for over 5 years. I know stuff and I’m happy to share them.

Here’s the first thing to consider: what kind of writer do you want to be?

Copywriter

What is it?

Copywriting is writing copy with the goal of making the reader take some sort of action: buy, subscribe, click somewhere. You write for clients — what kind of clients depends on you. There are a lot of businesses looking for copywriting services these days, so you can choose what you like to write about.

How much does it pay?

It depends on your experience, but you can expect to make anywhere from $50 to $500 per hour. If you price your copywriting services lower, you will look like a complete amateur — no copywriter who knows what he’s doing would do…
